WARRANTY

All of our e-scooters come with a UK warranty. The length of warranty varies by brand and the length of warranty is detailed in the original product listing. If you are unsure of your warranty period please contact us at support@scootz.co

Warranty is included on the display, controller, motor and charger against manufacturing and material defects on a replacement basis.

Batteries are covered for manufacturer defect only.

Valid only with the original receipt of purchase.

 

Exclusions:

The warranty does not cover external damage such as broken parts or general wear and tear items such as tyres and brakes.

Excludes consumable wearing fittings, such as brakes and tyres.

Excludes parts with physical damages, incomplete/broken cable connections.

Excludes misuse, modification, negligence and use of the scooter in wet conditions. Please check the IP ratings for each scooter. The warranty covers use during light rain and riding through puddles on the ground, but not soaking in water or exposure to strong rain for prolonged periods of time. Use in these conditions will invalidate the Scootz warranty. Do not leave your electric scooter immersed in a water depth of more than 3 cm to avoid damage to the electrical parts of the vehicle.

Excludes professional and hire use.

Warranty is non-transferable.
