Scootz was launched in 2020 by Xan Varmuza and Piers Thompson. We believe passionately that our products can help people travel around, improve the planet in a meaningful way and increase health in cities and towns all over. We are passionate and intent on offering the best advice and finding people what they want at a great price.

Our hiring process
Our hiring process is thorough, to ensure we make the right decision and to help you to decide if we're the right fit for you
1. Phone Call
When you apply, we first have a conversation with you over the phone. The goal here is for us to learn a little more about you and for you to ask any questions you may have to see if we’re a good fit.
A more in-depth interview with the hiring manager or a short exercise. NB. for some engineering roles this exercise may come before the initial phone interview.
3. Trial Day
The third and final stage is a working interview. This is a great way for you to see a day in the life at Scootz. It also allows us to get a feel for the way you work. We think that’s a win-win.
